🔵 Successful launch of the ENLACE community

Naia Vivanco,

Yesterday, at Attico's Barcelona Finance Hub, we celebrated the launch of Spain's first community dedicated to financing Proptech startups and driving innovation in the real estate sector 🚀. It was a day full of valuable insights, where the urgency of integrating technology to avoid being left behind was discussed, highlighting that digitalization is key to the future of the sector.

Furthermore, this event marked a further step in the collaboration between ENLACE and CSIM, with the aim of enabling traditional companies in the real estate sector, especially CSIM partners, to actively participate in the development of Proptech startups through investments.

"We have developed a platform together with Token City that will allow any real estate company to invest in startups validated by ENLACE. It is not just about financing, but about connecting innovation with the sector, looking for solutions and new ways of doing things," said Marc Ollé, from Enlace. He also stressed: "Since our inception, we have met with more than 100 proptechs," positioning ENLACE as an effective filter to validate the startups that are presented to the community.

The round table, moderated by Patricia Remiro, cluster manager of the CSIM, featured the participation of sector representatives such as Juan Velayos Lluis (JV20 Investment & Advisory), Jordi Tomas Miras (GuinotPrunera), Yael H. Oaknín (Token City), Marta Pallarés Fontán (Qlip) and Marc Ollé himself.

"The future of Proptech is here because the wolf has arrived: those who do not have technology will not survive," emphasized Juan Velayos, who made the paradox of the wolf and the sheep. He also added: "Half the room is not prepared for this digital transformation."

For his part, Jordi Tomas Miras shared the challenges they face in integrating technology into a company with more than a century of history, while Yael H. Oaknín addressed the other side of the coin: “The potential of tokenization in the future of the real estate market, with estimates that 10% of the world's GDP will be tokenized by 2030.”

Finally, Marta Pallarés closed the panel by concluding: “I think that Proptech's efforts should focus on integrating tools, and if there are 50 identical ones, perhaps we should join forces.”

Thank you to all speakers and attendees for their participation! 🙏✨ Stay tuned for our future news and activities, where we will continue working together for a more technological and collaborative future! 💡🤝
