Yesterday, at the Auditorium of the Administrative District of the Government of Catalonia, we held a conference that allowed us to debate and reflect on the major challenges of energy renovation and the decarbonisation of the building stock. 🏘️
From CSIM, co-organisers of the event together with the Efficient Energy Cluster of Catalonia (CEEC), and with the indispensable support of ACCIÓ, we would like to especially thank the presence of:
🔹 The Hon. Ms. Sílvia Paneque Sureda, Minister of Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition, for her commitment and support.
🔹 Mr. Jordi Mas, Director General of Housing of the Government of Catalonia, for sharing his vision and challenges.
🔹 The Vice Presidents: Mr. Ignasi Clariana Rueda (CEEC) and Ms. Montserrat Sánchez (CSIM).
🔹 ICAEN, represented by Anna Camp Casanovas, Director, and Lluís Morer, Head of the Energy Efficiency Department.
And, of course, we would also like to thank the moderators and speakers of the event, who, with their insights and contributions from different perspectives, made this meeting a space full of shared learning: Aitor Domínguez Martín; Jordi Pascual; Isabel Tejero Fernández; Luisa Fernanda Pinto Rodríguez; Álvaro Sicilia; Anabel Miró; Núria Alemany Blasco; Mª Felisa Velázquez López; Julián García Garzón; Jordi Ayats; Luisa Revilla; Ivan Capdevila; Antoni Herena Montull; Francisco Reyes; Thibault Péan.
Many thanks also to all attendees, for your active participation and interest, which give meaning to events like this and reinforce the importance of working collectively.
The event left us with several clear ideas: energy renovation is an opportunity for social, environmental and economic transformation, which requires collaboration between government, the private sector and citizens, and which will only succeed if it is carried out in an inclusive and fair way. 🏘️⚡
