On June 4th, CSIM had the opportunity to meet with Mrs. Sílvia Grau i Fontanals, Director of the Catalan Housing Agency, to present the project of the CSIM Office for Energy Rehabilitation.
During the meeting, we had the chance to outline the objectives and services that the office will offer to CSIM member companies, and especially to property managers, in order to promote rehabilitations, provide them with tools and resources to manage projects as a one-stop shop, complementing the technical offices of the associations, and advising them on technical, administrative, and financial matters.
The Administration viewed the initiative as very interesting and necessary to achieve the number of rehabilitations required to meet European goals. It was noted that public-private collaborations will allow efforts to be combined to mobilize the necessary housing stock to meet decarbonization goals, even beyond the Next Generation funds.
Within the framework of this project, CSIM is in the process of applying for the ELENA grant program from the European Investment Bank to implement this office during the fourth quarter of 2024.
