Yesterday, our partners had the opportunity to participate in the second session of the Shared Value Training Project, focused on an introduction to the B Corp movement and the B Impact Assessment (BIA) tool. This session allowed us to delve deeper into how to measure and embed sustainability at the heart of business strategies.
Additionally, we explored how to design impact-driven business models, concentrating on key areas such as governance, workers, community, the environment, and customers.
The session concluded with an individual exercise where each company began inputting their data into the BIA tool, a fundamental first step in obtaining an analysis of their social and environmental impacts.
💡 Thanks to this experience, we learned how B Corp standards strengthen organizations' social and environmental responsibility, positioning them as leaders in sustainability. We also understood that this certification is not based on product evaluation but on the company as a whole, with an aspirational vision to improve for the greater good of the world.
Many thanks once again to Roots for Sustainability (R4S) for facilitating the session and to ACCIÓ for their support. Let’s keep moving forward!
See you at the third session (online) on January 9th 👇
