On January 29, we started the Conecta Edificio Project in collaboration with EURECAT, the main technology center in Catalonia, with a diagnosis and analysis of needs in the CSIM value chain.

The Conecta Project seeks to improve building management to reduce energy costs and promote community savings. In addition, it aims to explore opportunities for new services and business models associated with the Connected Building, with the aim of improving people's experience and quality of life. This comprehensive approach involves all players in the sector, generating business opportunities and exploring avenues for innovation.

In the session, EURECAT detailed the association of the Smart Building with the multi-service platform concept, explained the methodology we will follow, shared the project schedule and highlighted the benefits of the connected building, such as user convenience, process optimization and efficiency energy.

The session concluded with a work dynamic, identifying and exploring the specific needs of each company in the CSIM value chain with respect to the connected building.

The next steps of this project include the development of a maturity model and associated technologies, the definition of specific actions for the adoption of the connected building and an analysis of opportunities for new services and business models.
