Last week, our new project manager, Marina Conde, had the privilege of visiting Skåne (Sweden), invited by Region Skåne. A unique opportunity to discover first-hand one of the most dynamic innovation ecosystems in Europe.

What impressed us the most was:

• The region’s international outlook

• Its strong startup scene

• A solid collaboration model that brings together the public sector, companies, universities, research centers, and clusters

We had the chance to visit key collaboration hubs such as Lund University, Medicon Village, Media Evolution, and The Loop – Science Village, where we explored the MAX IV and ESS facilities: two internationally renowned scientific centers that showcase Skåne’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and collaboration.

Special thanks to Region Skåne for the invitation and warm welcome, and to ACCIÓ for their role in organizing the trip, which helped strengthen ties and explore new avenues of cooperation between Catalonia and Sweden.
